Michael Sean Comerford is a writer and former award-winning international journalist at newspapers in New York, Chicago, Budapest and Moscow.
He swam the headwaters of the Nile, fought off a hippo attack, studied Buddhism in the Himalayas. He rode freight trains out West, rode cattle round-ups, rode his bicycle cross country three times and hitchhiked across North America, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. He's toured almost 100 countries and once won a heavyweight boxing championship in Ireland.
He works full-time as a writer in the Chicago area in order to be closer to his high school daughter.
